Jose Tejada’s journey is one of purpose, perseverance, and impact. A first-generation college student, Jose studied Business Administration at California State University, Northridge, and has spent the past 25 years immersed in the financial industry. ​​A recognized leader in his field, Jose is a proud recipient of the NAHREP Top 250 Loan Officer award, a distinction that reflects both his professional excellence and his deep connection to the Hispanic community.
A natural educator and passionate advocate for financial literacy, Jose delivers annual lectures to high school and college students, empowering the next generation with tools for economic mobility. His voice extends beyond the classroom: he is a published author and the host of the Hispanic Wealth Matters podcast, where he shares actionable strategies for building wealth and closing equity gaps. Jose is also a certified trainer with The Hispanic Wealth Project.
Jose’s commitment to service is equally strong, serving on the Board of Managers for the Mid-Valley YMCA and Para Los Niños Charter Schools and formerly as President of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP). Through every platform, Jose’s story becomes a bridge, connecting communities, inspiring change, and advocating for authentic representation in business and beyond.
